VISION
 

The AFSCME District Council 47 Health & Welfare Fund seeks to create a partnership with its participants which strives to improve their quality of life by providing a holistic approach to wellness and health care; encouraging participants to be healthy, productive, and energetic and to be pro-active in their own wellness, health and general well being.

MISSION
 

The AFSCME District Council 47 Health & Welfare Fund provides, in accordance with the Summary Plan Description, a comprehensive health care benefit package including wellness, educational programs, advocacy, and assistance in navigating the health system maze while acting as a resource to define what is required for such a comprehensive benefit program. The Fund researches, develops, and implements new program and benefit designs for the enrichment of the participants.
